Elevate 2018 proved to be another excellent show for the FitQuest team with an increase in visitor numbers to the stand compared to previous years with visitors from near and far, including Jubilee Hall Trust, METROFITT Dubai, MyTime Active, Kingston University, Fitstate and Wandsworth Council among many others. This was our first opportunity to showcase the new FitQuest BIA at a UK show with two FitQuest BIA machines in action keeping our trainers, Aidan and Lily, inundated with visitors finding out how fit they are and measuring their body composition too.
As well as showcasing the FitQuest test which involves five tasks completed in just 4 minutes to provide 8 measurements including heart rate recovery, upper and lower body endurance, upper body strength and explosive power, FitQuest BIA also enables users to measure their body composition in a separate test. The body composition analysis provides a full overview of body composition and segmental breakdown enabling users to identify where changes are happening and supporting them to achieve their goals. Once users have completed the tests, the results are revealed on the dashboard and emailed to the user so they can refer back to their results. Some of our top scorers in the fitness tests featured on our leaderboard over the two days at Elevate, take a look and see if you made it onto the leaderboard if you completed the FitQuest test.
We were also pleased to be awarded the bronze award for Best Health and Wellness Innovation for our new product FitQuest BIA, as part of the Elevate Innovation Awards sponsored by actionPR with Kinetic Insight being awarded the gold and Smart life, awarded the silver.

Our CEO, Brian Firth, was also one of the panelists on an insightful session ‘Technology: Friend, not Foe’ which focused on the impact of digital solutions and technology in the health and fitness industry. The session featured some great discussion around what the future of the fitness industry looks like and the positives and negatives involved with embracing technological change with Paul Bowman, CEO of Wexer, Phillip Roesch Schlanderer, CEO and Founder of e-Gym, Ben Beevers, Associate Director from Everyone Active and Kevin Teague, Senior Vice President and MD of MindBody software with an excellent chair – David Minton, MD of LeisureDB.
Thank you to all who visited us at the stand, it was great to meet and talk to you all. Thanks for taking the 4 minutes to discover your fitness levels and measure your body composition, we hope the results help you with your fitness programmes. Don’t forget to come and see us at our next show to see how your scores have changed and become one of our FitQuest Heroes!
