Campo Bahia, a luxury sports and nature resort in Brazil has recently completed the installation of a new FitQuest machine as part of their Boxing and Functional Training (BXFT) vacation training camps set to launch early next year. Originally built to host the Germany national football team who used it during their 2014 FIFA World Cup win, the hotel now offers a year-round luxury experience for guests in the remote village of Santo Andre.

Catering to clientele from nearby Sao Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, the FitQuest machine will be a key part of the BXFT offering, providing fitness measurements at both the start and end of the 4-week programme.

We are thrilled to partner with Campo Bahia to add FitQuest to their training camps and guest experience,” said Brian Firth, CEO of FitQuest. “With its innovative technology and sophisticated measurements, FitQuest will offer something completely new to guests of Bahia Campo, complementing the hotel’s reputation for a high-end and luxury experience.”

“The FitQuest machine is the perfect addition to our BXFT Training Camps at Campo Bahia,” said Benjamin Dobbs. Managing Director of Sport-Fit GmbH. “Our high-end training experience focuses on innovative techniques using special LED flooring and wearable tech. FitQuest adds tremendous value to that experience by giving participants fitness measurements previously only available to elite athletes.”

“Adding FitQuest to our hotel is another step toward differentiating us from our competitors,” said Dr. Christian Hirmer, Owner, Campo Bahia. “As a luxury sports resort, we are invested in helping people change their lifestyle and become fitter, and FitQuest is the perfect tool to help our guests do that in a scientific and measurable way.”

The new FitQuest machine will play a key role in the soft launch of the training camps set to launch this October. The official launch is scheduled for next Spring, with camps set to run twice a year thereafter.
