As we move forward into 2019, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on the last 12 months. And it’s been a busy year for FitQuest!

2018 started with the launch of our newest product, FitQuest BIA. Using small, varying electrical currents, the FitQuest BIA determines body fat and muscle percentage as well as a user’s hydration levels. In addition to the unique FitQuest score which measures fitness against average gender and age groups, the new machines provide a more complete assessment for users with both a full fitness test and body composition analysis.

This was quickly followed with our largest operator roll out to date with the hugely successful low cost operator, The Gym Group, to support their premium membership offering. Since the initial roll out of 120 machines, every Gym Group facility that has opened throughout 2018 has featured a FitQuest BIA as part of their equipment install and we’re proud of our ongoing partnership and continuing to support their growing business.

New partnerships with operators and distributors around the world
New partnerships with operators and distributors around the world.

We were excited to be a part of FIBO, the world’s biggest trade show for fitness, wellness and health, in April, where we were inundated with visitors and had the opportunity to see what new trends and innovations were on display throughout the show.

This was quickly followed by Elevate, the UK’s leading trade event for physical activity, where we were awarded bronze for the Best Health and Wellness Innovation in the Elevate Innovation Awards where we met with a number of different organisations to showcase the full FitQuest test.

The next few months were filled with new partnerships including exclusive relationships with distributors around the world including Gympac (India), Fitness System (Russia) and Tecnowave (Portugal) and a number of installs across Europe including installs with GOfit, GLL and medicos.Aufschalke among many others.

We finished the year by taking part in the first ever FIBO USA in Orlando where we had the opportunity to meet a number of different operators and find out what’s hot for 2019.

We’re excited about what lies ahead in 2019 and look forward to continuing to provide unrivalled fitness measurement for research, corporate, health and fitness facilities around the world.
